Didsbury Doorsteps

In May 2020, lockdown rules were relaxed ever so slightly, allowing me to dust off my camera & get back to work. I visited over 90 beautiful families around Didsbury & Chorlton in a matter of weeks, with everyone staying safely on their doorsteps whilst I photographed them from a good distance away.

It was such a strange & serious time but it was heartwarming to see the efforts families were making to Stay at Home and keep the country safe. It was lovely to hear of everyone’s lockdown stories & about their precious time together as family, a time that I’m sure no one will forget.

I want to say a huge thank-you to everyone who booked in for a Doorstep Session. Not only did you keep my spirits high during this time but you kept my little business a float & raised over £400 for the NHS too!
